CN Advisory Board, Intermodal Committee Activity

On July 8, 2013, the CN Advisory Board met at Lake Geneva (with several members participating via call-in service provided by WMC). CN provided updates on development of its customer service capabilities, advancement of work on the Whitehall subdivision and relationships of these and other developments to agendas of the CN/WCGroup working committees.
The CN Advisory Board reviewed draft minutes and a report on the Intermodal Committee's meeting of June 18, 2013. Board members discussed finalizing the initial membership rosters for the CN/WCGroup working committees and selection of co-chairs (CN and shipper/stakeholder) who will be responsible for driving forward the agendas that the Log and Intermodal Commmittees undertake. The Board considered anticipated activities and objectives through 2013 year-end and scheduled its next in-person meeting for Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Oakbrook Hills Marriott Resort, Oakbrook, Illinois. An interim meeting of the Board via call-in is anticipated in Fall 2013 and additional call-in meetings will be scheduled as needed.
The next meeting of the CN/WCGroup Intermodal Committee will be in-person (with call-in available), on Thursday, August 8, 2013, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., at Green Bay. The CN/WCGroup Log Committee — several of whose members participated as a group at the Great Lakes Forestry Policy Conference — will hold its initial meeting (via call-in) at a late August date, yet to be set.
